The Gladsome Gentlemen is a progressive bluegrass band formed by four of Ottawa’s most seasoned pickers. Joe McDonald (guitar, vocals) Trevor Lubin (mandolin, vocals) Dylan Watts (guitar) and Duncan Reitbeock (Bass) play a mixture of original and traditional tunes with a modern gladsome twist. They are considered Ottawa’s happiest bluegrass band and when paired with their thoughtful songwriting, intricate instrumentals and virtuosic picking they are a delight to catch live.
