The Commotions is a powerhouse 12-piece soul ensemble reigning from Ottawa Ontario.

Putting the motion in The Commotions are 12 band members including three lead singers and a wild five-piece horn section with a mighty dose of trumpets and sax. Profoundly timeless yet remarkably timely, The Commotions' third album, "Volume 3" catapults their already extraordinary sound to new heights as they dive deeper into their creativity than ever before.

The band has delighted audiences across Ontario with performances at Ottawa Bluesfest, The Ottawa Jazz Festival, Summerfolk, and Sunfest, among many others. The Commotions have also had successful placements on TV including HBO’s Looking, The Fosters (ABC), Snowfall (FX), The Neighborhood (CBS), and All Rise (OWN).
