From jam sessions in their parents' garage, to a relatively unknown opening act, to raising hell as backup musicians for Saskatchewan based singer-songwriters including Jolie Blue and Will Ardell, these boys have come a long way and have worked hard to earn their place in the spotlight. In 2024 the band made their debut on commercial radio in Canada, with their 2018-released single “Virginia” reaching the Mediabase Canada Active Rock Top 40. The Brothers G have garnered acclaim for their high energy live performances, approachable stage presence and relatable lyrics, which has landed them spots on music festivals such as Ness Creek, Napatak Ramble, and Tralapa. The band has also fared well in songwriting competitions, with “Postcard” from their debut EP “Greetings From Highway 16” being chosen as a semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Competition in 2021 and the single “Autumn Conversations” repeating this placing in 2023.  The Brothers G have also been featured by North Sask Music Zine on numerous occasions including getting the January 2024 cover.
