Creatures of Habit is a rock band based in Nanaimo, BC, blending the heavy, gritty sound of early ’90s rock with a modern edge. Influenced by bands like Black Sabbath and Alice in Chains, they bring a raw, riff-driven energy that nods to the past while pushing forward.The band formed six months ago, but their chemistry runs deeper; they first connected in high school band class. Gabe Enns (bass), Cole Tomkins (drums), and Cameron Boudrot (guitar) all grew up playing music together, later joined by vocalist Jacob Mattes, whose roots on Gabriola Island bring a unique voice to the group.Despite being new to the scene, Creatures of Habit is quickly carving out its place with a sound that’s heavy, honest, and built to be played loud.

The Brice Tabish Band’s music brings the early influence of jazz rhythms on classic rock music back to our attention with their blues-inspired brand of original hard rock. With the release of their debut album, “Living In A Number Game”, the band has been touring across Canada as far as Nova Scotia and back.
