About The Barrel Boys:
The Barrel Boys are a Canadian bluegrass powerhouse featuring rich 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies, flashy instrumental picking, and a fun, down-to-earth stage presence. Their music draws from traditional bluegrass and Appalachian old-time, but what sets them apart is their heartfelt songwriting and storytelling. 
Established in 2012, The Barrel Boys got their start playing in hole-in-the-wall bars around Toronto. Now, over a decade of playing, writing, recording, and touring together has brought an easy tightness to their unmistakable sound, and a strong camaraderie that has charmed audiences in concert halls and festival main stages across Canada.
Their fourth album “Chicken in the Window” was released in Summer 2025, and earned them nominations in two categories at the 2026 Canadian Folk Music Awards: “Vocal Group of the Year” and “Traditional Album of the Year.”
