The third annual Innovation Event, June 16 at Platform Calgary, explores innovation in leadership, the energy sector in transition and equity in tech access as well as a peek inside the metaverse and a taste of the future — literally!
Join us for the whole day to connect with Calgary's innovation leaders, pop in for the Food of the Future Lunch and get a taste of the wares of some of Calgary's leaders in agri-tech or stop by the Carbon Capture Cocktail Hour to try some local products that include carbon capture technologies in their manufacturing.

Calgary is the centre of Canada’s carbon innovation pivot. With the opening of the Energy Transition Centre, our panel of experts will discuss this major innovation hub and what it means for our thriving city that's known for encouraging citizens to "Be Part of the Energy."
Panelists Kevin Krausert, CEO and Co-Founder, Avatar Innovations, Marla Orenstein, Director, Natural Resource Centre at Canada West Foundation and Heather Campbell, Executive Director, Clean Technology, Alberta Innovates will take part in this discussion moderated by Brad Parry, President and CEO, Calgary Economic Development.
