Description

The Alchemist by Ben Jonson is a satirical comedy that follows three con artists—Face, Subtle, and Dol—who exploit the greed and gullibility of London's citizens by pretending to practice alchemy. Their elaborate schemes unravel when their lies catch up with them. The play mocks human vanity, obsession with wealth, and the folly of trying to get something for nothing.
