Description

Based on the book by Cheryl Strayed
Adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos
Co-Conceived by Marshall Heyman, Thomas Kail, and Nia Vardalos

Based on the New York Times bestselling book by Cheryl Strayed (author of Wild) and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Tiny Beautiful Things explores Strayed's time as the anonymous, unpaid advice columnist Dear Sugar.  While strangers on the internet tell their most personal secrets, Strayed uses empathy and her personal experiences to create a column rich with humor, insight and compassion.  Tiny Beautiful Things is "A Theatrical Hug In Turbulent Times" (Variety).  Sept. 28-30, 2023

Tiny Beautiful Things is based on real letters from real people. There is adult language and references to sexual abuse and drug use, which may be triggering for those who share similar experiences. Nothing is depicted or reenacted, only discussed from a perspective of healing and catharsis.

Recommended for audiences 16 +.  If you have any questions, please email the.abc.players@gmail.com.

On Saturday, September 30 The Public Square will be closed for Nelsonville Pride so there will be no parking on The Square and limited street parking.
