The 2023 Alberta Summer Games

The Towns of Okotoks and Black Diamond are pleased to be the location of the 2023 Alberta Summer Games!

The Alberta Summer Games is one of Alberta’s premier sporting events and will host athletes ranging in ages from 11-17.  This year the games will take place July 20-23, 2023 and feature 14 sports including baseball, swimming, rugby and more.

Okotoks and Black Diamond are excited to welcome nearly 3000 athletes, coaches and officials from all across Alberta. Along with the Board of Directors and games staff, over 1500 volunteers will ensure that all events are implemented and completed in a fun, safe and sportsmanlike manner. Together with parents, family and fans, the expected attendance is estimated to be over 6500 people. 

These Games celebrate the achievements of young athletes and provide them with a venue to compete and reach their athletic potential.

PLEASE NOTE: Some venues will have limited seating. Seating will be on a first come first serve basis.
For outdoor venues seating will be available, but please feel free to bring your own chairs.
