THE SHINING - 6PM

Join us for a screening of the iconic psychological horror film "The Shining," directed by Stanley Kubrick. This classic showcases Jack Nicholson's unforgettable performance as he portrays a winter caretaker at the unique Overlook Hotel. Did you know Kubrick's pioneering use of the Steadicam resulted in the iconic tracking shot of Danny riding his tricycle down the hotel's long corridors, contributing to the film's distinctive visual style? The hotel was inspired by real locations, including the renowned Stanley Hotel in Colorado, which inspired Stephen King's novel.

The Shining is rated 14A for violence, nudity, and frightening scenes. Attendees must be 14 years or older.

DOCTOR SLEEP - 9PM

Follow up the 1980 classic with the thrilling 2019 sequel, written and directed by Mike Flanagan. “Doctor Sleep” follows Dan Torrance, the traumatized survivor of the Overlook Hotel, as he struggles with his past and the haunting legacy of his childhood. Now an adult, Dan has turned to alcohol to numb his psychic abilities, but when he encounters a young girl named Abra, who possesses powerful psychic gifts of her own, he finds purpose in protecting her from a sinister cult that feeds on children with "the shining." As Dan confronts his demons and battles the malevolent forces that threaten them both, he must revisit the horrors of his past to save Abra and ultimately himself. This chilling sequel to The Shining combines psychological horror with a gripping tale of redemption.

Doctor Sleep is rated 14A for violence, and frightening scenes. Attendees must be 14 years or older.
