Tempo's All Day Party

Our All Day Party is back!

On June 22, we're heading back outside and taking over Industrial Garden to bring you a full day of groovy house and disco, with a sprinkling of UKG and dub mixed in.

We've curated what we think might just be the perfect daytime lineup, featuring some of our favourite DJs in the city.

On top of that, the VOID system will be out to make sure you get a proper bass tan.

Get down early and stay ’til late. You won't want to miss a beat.

AyyCeeDee [14:00 - 15:00] 

One of the founders of @mrmr_fest and a master selector on the decks. We're stoked to have him kick things off on his Tempo debut with a sun-soaked Dub & Reggae set. His deep knowledge of soundsystem culture will mean the VOID system will be warmed up properly for the day ahead. 

 

Rōshi [15:00 - 16:00] 

1/2 of Tempo, Rōshi is currently in his groove era, so expect horns and percussion bringing the sunny vibes over his regular UKG, house & Disco backdrop. 

 

Bodega Boys [16:00 - 17:00] 

Returning for the second All Day Party, and under a new moniker, Bodega Boys will be bringing the vibes up with a serious selection of dancefloor belters.

 

James C [17:00 - 18:00] 

The other half of Tempo, whose favourite time to play is late afternoon. All sorts of house will make an appearance when he takes to the decks, so get ready to dance.

 

Marleau [18:00 - 19:00]

Co-founder of @eastblvdrecords and no stranger to the decks, he throws down everything from house to UKG to Bassline to get the crowd moving, and if you're lucky, you might even get to hear a few original bangers throughout his set.

 

DJ dood b2b Lerma [19:00 - 20:30]

After seeing these two powerhouse DJs share the decks a number of times this year, we're stoked we can facilitate their very first b2b.

 

DJ dood, who hosts the Sup dood? show on bside, is known for their banging house and groovy basslines, while Lerma, who has solidified herself as a Vancouver flyer staple - supporting the likes of Elkka, Pangaea and Brawther this year - will compliment with her deep selections and bouncey vibes. A b2b not to be missed. 

 

Sotto Voce [20:30 - Close] 

After seeing Sotto Voce hold the MRMR dancefloor in a vice-like grip with a serious Chicago-style deep house set infused with Afrobeats and euphoric edits, we knew we had to get him on a flyer. When the opportunity came up to have him play a sunset set closing out an outdoor day party, it was a no brainer. If you're planning on leaving early - don't. Trust us.
