Taynton Bay Spirits & The Velvet Collaboration Dinner

 

Craft distillery, Taynton Bay Spirits based in Invermere are joining us for a night of shaken, stirred and straight up deliciousness. Be taken on a taste journey over four courses prepared by Chef MAC & the culinary team at The Velvet. Each course perfectly paired with cocktails that complement and enhance with every sip.

Doors open at 6:30pm, event begins at 7:00pm. Distillery experts and chef will be onsite to guide through flavours of paired cocktails and spirits to compliment your dining experience.

About Taynton Bay Spirits; Opened in 2017 in Invermere BC.  The work began years before with experimental distilling in a home garage.  Fast forward 3 years and Taynton has crafted the best vodka infusions available on the market using real ingredients including tea, fruit, and spices.  In November 2019 they appeared on CBC's Dragon's Den and struck a deal with Arlene Dickinson. A small dedicated team driven to bringing the best infused spirits to customers who demand better out of their food and drinks.

Second Course

Taynton Gin Cured Wild BC Sockeye Salmon

Dill yogurt, beetroot tapioca cracker, gin marinated cucumber, Happy Hills Farm Pea Tendrils

Third Course

Carnitas enchilada

Slow braised pork rolled in corn tortilla, tomato & pepper sauce. Gringo’s revenge Tequilla marinated slaw & pickled jalapeno

Fourth Course

Vanilla bavarois & huckleberry compote

Lemon meringue, blueberry rooibos foam
