Gibbons Summer Series Slo-Pitch Tournament

 Tournament Rules

- 7 & 3 format – Must bat minimum of 10 or can bat 12 (8/4) or 14 (9/

- No bunting, No stealing, No fighting

- NSA/SPN approved bat list

- No touch home plate, There is a line adjacent to cross as well as a line of commitment, no sliding at home plate. 

- 5 run limit per inning

- Throw out females from outfield is allowed

- Home Run Rule is a match plus 2. Please collect your Home Run Balls

- Mercy Rule is 10 runs after 5 innings - a mercy is scored as a +10 on the leaderboard.

- Unlimited courtesy runners. 

- Umpire’s ruling will stand. The umpires will reserve the right to eject any player or team from the game if warranted. 

- No alcohol in dugouts

- 150ft line is NOT in play

- Score sheets are NOT provided

- Umpires reserve the right to start a game 15 minutes before scheduled time – please be ready to play.

- 2^nd base is awarded to a straight 4 pitch walk with a female on deck batter.

This is a fun Slo Pitch Tournament - So have Fun!

Tournament Details

Spruce Grove Athletic Park (3 fields) Parking, shade, washrooms & concession on site.

Concession BBQ and Beer Garden available on site.  Cash, Credit & Debit available  

3 game Round-Robin formats played on the Saturday; Teams are seeded by points               (2W, 1T, 0L), then +/- into an elimination knock-out bracket for Sunday.
