Shona Reilly, Director, Trade

Shona is a business development and international trade specialist helping Calgary companies reach their global potential. With over 5 years at Calgary Economic Development, Shona has a deep and diverse network of contacts and resources specifically related to the growth and expansion of SME’s locally and internationally. Her current role includes leading the Trade Accelerator Program (TAP), an innovative and dynamic program designed to help small or medium-sized enterprise plan and prepare for long-term export success.   

 

Chad Kultgen, Trade Manager

As Trade Manager, Chad strategizes, plans and implements local and international activations to support SMEs in their international expansion, including multi day international missions and conferences, local industry and country of focus sessions, trade talks, inbound buyer missions and IFI workshops.

 

Shayne van der Meer, TAP Specialist

Shayne helps connect companies aspiring to expand globally with international trade experts. He leads the recruiting process, coordination with participants and program speakers and ensures the program runs smoothly from all stages.

Samantha Hay, Trade Specialist

Samantha manages all operations and logistics of Trade events. She supports trade missions through collaboration with TAP delegations and the alumni network.

 

Rochelle Edwards, TAP Community Coordinator

Rochelle manages and helps with all community events, community engagement, brand awareness and recruiting companies into the program for companies across the province.

 

 Nimrit Anand, TAP Community & Partnership Specialist
