Breathe in the mountain air, and move with quiet intention. Join Master Sun Ying, a globally respected Tai Chi practitioner now based in Whistler, for a gentle experience set high above the valley, where stillness and movement meet. Selected at just eight years old to train with the prestigious Beijing Wu Shun team, she rose to become its highest-ranking member, earning international recognition for her discipline and depth of practice. Today, her teaching reflects that lineage, offering guidance that is both precise and deeply attuned.

Held in the Nourish Dome at the top of the mountain, this outdoor session introduces the foundational principles and flowing movements of Tai Chi. Through slow, continuous motion and guided breath, participants are invited to harmonize mind, body, and spirit while immersed in the stillness of the alpine landscape.

Sun Ying’s approach is both rooted and accessible, creating space for beginners while offering depth for those familiar with the practice. As you move through soft, intentional sequences, the body begins to mirror the calm of the surroundings. Breath deepens, awareness sharpens, and a quiet sense of presence begins to unfold.
