Sussex SummerFEST Presents Darren McGinnis & Jacob Chevarie

Get ready for an amazing evening of live music on Saturday, July 5 at the 8th Hussars Sports Centre, as part of SummerFEST 2025!

We're bringing together two of New Brunswick’s own:

Darren McGinnis
With over 20 years in the country music scene, Darren has done it all. From growing up watching his dad’s band to playing alongside artists like The Road Hammers, Patricia Conroy, and Gord Bamford. His debut album What’s Your Story earned national attention, and his single “More Than Me” was even nominated for Country Song of the Year at the Canadian Radio Music Awards. Darren brings heart, energy, and a deep love of music to every stage he steps on.

 Jacob Chevarie
Back by popular demand, Jacob is the breakout talent who wowed the crowd at SummerFEST 2024 just hours after graduating high school. This young singer-songwriter from Darling’s Island is full of raw talent and big dreams. You don’t want to miss seeing him on the rise.This night is all about community, connection, and celebrating the music that brings us together.
