About Stonegate

Influenced by the likes of the Foo Fighters, Shinedown and RATM, Stonegate pays homage to the hard rock sounds of the 90s and 2000s, incorporating soaring vocal choruses that leave each song with a signature sound. The band earned its first YYC Music Award nomination in 2021, and headlined the AFTERMATH Music Festival in Whitehorse, YK, in 2022 . Stonegate’s debut album “Set In Stone” was 8th on LA’s Unique High Fidelity/Denim & Leather Top 100 Rock Albums of 2022. After winning 2nd place in Cowboys Calgary’s Opener Competition, Stonegate performed at the 2023 Cowboys Music Festival, and has further shared the stage with such industry giants as Econoline Crush, Nelly Furtado and Ice Cube.
