Description

The Elvis Show

Fronting the band, playing guitar, slide guitar and harmonica and writing tunes and arrangements is Steve Pineo. Steve is a 30 year musical veteran, a nationally recognized song writer who's written songs recorded by Paul Brandt (Canadian Man) and Prairie Oyster (Too Bad For Me), and a tireless musical creator. Steve was born in Ontario even admits to Toronto to Nova Scotian parents and moved to Calgary in 1978.  He got his first guitar when  he was ten.  Steve says he wrote his first song when he was eleven. When he was in Junior High he was in a garage band with Whitey Kirst who went on to play with Iggy Pop. Their band were called “The Tomatoes”.
