Join Startup Calgary and Platform Calgary for this introductory workshop that provides initial answers to the question “I have an idea, where do I start?” Our facilitators will guide you through the recommended steps to take when you have an early-stage idea you want to evaluate. You’ll walk away with an understanding of the roadmap ahead with examples of tools and resources that will help you start.  

This workshop is ideal for entrepreneurs with ideas that will leverage technology to achieve high-growth potential. It's not intended for small business owners, consultants or service providers.

We recommend attending this session if you:

  • Are looking for an overview of Calgary's startup community 
  • Want a better understanding of the support that is available to you
  • Have an idea you are looking to expire and want to know your next steps
  • Are overwhelmed by the terms, tools, and resources available
