Join us at the legendary King Eddy for some boot stompin' live music this Stampede! Our favourite band of prairie pirates, The Polyjesters, will hit the stage with their swinging, stage-shakin' tunes on Wednesday, July 12.
They'll be joined by special guests Boots Graham and Howlin’ Pete Cormier for a Stampede hootenanny like no other!
About The Polyjesters
The Polyjesters were created by brothers Jason and Sheldon Valleau on a park bench in Holland and developed on the streets of France. Planning to busk just for the summer, they ended up getting caught in a swing vortex amongst many other talented players. It was there that they began stealing from the best of the best to become part of the Poly family. 3 years had passed where they went from street performances to playing private parties in Monaco including for the Prince himself. Eventually home was calling as hard as immigration was pushing and the boys returned home. They immediately took to stealing the best band mates close to home, releasing four albums, three of them original with ever changing styles and toured these albums back and forth across North America, England and Japan, doing several stints at Epcot Centre. They became a little road weary and decided to bring the party to them, creating The Mountain View Music Fest which lasted a grand 10 years. The boys found themselves on other paths of music and comedy for the past couple of years but are now blowing on the embers, about to fire up and leave no genre ungrooved. The best has been dusted off, new songs are in the mill and The Polyjesters are about to push the red button.
About Boots Graham
Since 2011, Boots Graham has been delivering dynamic live performances across Canada with the help of his band Boots & The Hoots. Backed by the incredibly talented Catherine Robertson on fiddle and tag team bassists Keith Rodger and Sydney Zadravec. Their original sound reconnects the upbeat roots of Country Music with the cowboy lifestyle of the west with plenty of original wit and grit. With their brand new 4th album Buck or Two Buckaroo gaining critical acclaim, Country Music People Magazine called it “Immediately likeable” and went on to say ‘there’s more to Boots & The Hoots than tales of honky tonkin' or knockin’ them back.” Boots and the band are currently gearing up to take this humor laden, harmony drenched, pure country show on the road and to a honky tonk near you!
About Howlin’ Pete Cormier
Howlin' Pete Cormier started his band Peter & the Wolves in 2011 with rhythm at the roots, and the purpose of creating a hoppin' dance floor at every show. He writes his songs in the style of the great rock n' rollers from the 1950s like Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly. Over the years, it has grown into a powerful touring act, traveling the world with a rotating line-up.
