Stage Struck! 2026

The Edmonton Region of the Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA) proudly presents its Stage Struck! One Act Play Festival on April 17 & 18, 2026.

The 2026 festival will feature nine plays covering a wide array of genres from comedy to post-apoplectic dramas. The line-up this year includes six new works by local playwrights and two previously produced works.

The 2026 festival has three sessions, with a short public adjudication by the Festival’s Adjudicator after each session. Following the Saturday evening session, awards will be presented for:

  • Outstanding Production
  • Outstanding Performances (2)
  • Outstanding New Work
  • Outstanding Direction
  • Outstanding Technical Direction

The winning production from Stage Struck! 2026 will compete in the ADFA Provincial Festival, to be held May 29th and 30th in Leduc.

2026 FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

SESSION ONE, Friday April 17, 2026

7:10 PM “Gravity of the Situation”, Silent Pea/FOMPT (60 minutes)
8:10 PM INTERMISSION (15 minutes)
8:25 PM “The Entirely Plausible Adventures of Chuck and Harry”, Wonkers Theatrics (55 minutes)
9:20 PM INTERMISSION (15 minutes)
9:35 PM Don't Drink the Water”, Hazel Productions (25 minutes)
10:00 PM INTERMISSION (5 minutes)
10:05 PM Public Adjudication (10 Minutes)
10:15 PM Private Adjudication (30 Minutes)
10:45 PM END OF SESSION ONE

Unfortunately Stage Struck does not currently accept refunds, but we would be more than happy to transfer your ticket to another session.
