Spark & Ignite: Celebrate Hope and New Horizons

The Spark & Ignite Conference is our largest event. It is an immersive, interactive experience uniting forward focused library professionals with industry thought leaders, meaningful opportunities, and change fueled professional development sessions. This year's event is a one-room, one-day event with a single stream of presenters - all chosen by the Conference Committee. There will be six short sessions, two keynotes, vendors, displays, good food and great company! Dinner and entertainment will be provided in the evening.

To celebrate the great people and initiatives in our region, we themed this year's conference Celebrate Hope and New Horizons. Library managers, staff, board members and volunteers have powered through the difficulties of the pandemic with creativity and resourcefulness; this needs to be celebrated as libraries move forward through the new world we're living in. Northern Lights Library System’s purpose is to help expand our member libraries’ physical and digital resources, offer training and professional development opportunities that ultimately assist libraries to better serve their communities.

Library Managers Council for NLLS libraries and board chairs of NLLS member libraries will be meeting on May 26th. the NLLS board will be holding its AGM on May 28th.
