Description
You spoke and we listened. ArtPhilly is adding a second performance for Sound of History on Thursday, June 25, 6 p.m., at Awbury Arboretum.
This will be an outdoor event, so please BYO chair, blanket, and snacks. The event is rain or shine.
This incredible project looks to answer the question: What does the Revolution sound like 250 years later? Two local musicians, Laurin Talese and Zeek Burse, created new work inspired by residencies at the Museum of the American Revolution.
We couldn’t ask for a better setting for this performance: Awbury Arboretum is a beloved green space in Germantown. It has been free and open to the public since 1916. Visitors — and concert attendees! — can explore the gardens, historic buildings, and a community farm.
