Songs Of Soul is a captivating production that revitalizes timeless soul tunes from the past, featuring renditions by some of Canada's Most cherished artists!This performance will showcase songs by the incomparable Otis Redding, Etta James and Marvin Gaye.

Gary Beals

Gary Beals is a Canadian singer who is best known for being runner up in the first season of the reality television series Canadian Idol.  He is a resident of Cherry Brook, Nova Scotia and named "Best Halifamous Person of 2003" by The Coast.  Halifax Regional Municipality celebrated "Gary Beals Day" on November 22, 2003. His first album, Gary Beals, entered the Canadian album charts at Number 10 and went on to sell 110,000 copies.

Suzie McNeil

Suzie McNeil was ROCKSTAR:INXS’ last woman standing in 2005, and she has gone on to have an impressive career ever since. She’s had 18 Top 20 Canadian radio hits including her single “SuperGirl” which reached gold status. She’s had countless performances across North America sharing the stage with Sheryl Crow, Dave Navarro, Matt Nathanson, singing backup for P!nk, and most recently Aerosmith on their "Peace Out" tour.

Aion Clarke

Aion is a singer/songwriter whose blend of pop, soul and big band favourites is establishing him as a force on the International music scene. Aion performed his first solo at the age of 4 for his church, and grew up studying a wide variety of music- from R&B/soul to country and folk. He has been singing ever since. With headline performances at The MGM Grand Foxwoods, the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and by lending his voice to the Young Artists for Haiti campaign, Aion has made his mark as a captivating Canadian entertainer 

The Songs Of Soul backup band features Chuck Keeping on drums (Big Wreck), Andrew Mactaggart on guitar (Tim Hicks), Jesse O'Brien on keys (Colin James), Curtis Freeman on bass (Pavlo), Alison Young on Sax (Johnny Reid) and Marie Goudie on trumpet (Paloma Sky).
