On July 1st, 2022, live in concert, one of the biggest Somali artists, Kiin Jamac, is coming to Edmonton, Alberta, to celebrate Somalia’s Independence and Canada Day. The celebration of what it is to be Somali and Canadian will be celebrated at this historical event in Edmonton, Canada, on July 1st. Alonside Kiin Jamac will be Edmonton's own, Abririzack Ashuuke, DJ Zaki and Toronto's own DJ Amal

 

Canada and Somalia share July 1st, and this year we will be celebrating what it is to be Somali and Canadian by bringing the best Somali artists in the world to perform in Edmonton.

 

Also joining us in the celebration will be dignitaries from the municipal, provincial, and Federal Governments to give their greetings on this special day.
