Description

Vivek Shraya

Celebrated author, visual artist and musician (Too Attached) Vivek Shraya will appear at Sled Island hot on the heels of her debut album Baby, You're Projecting. If the first single “Good Luck (You’re Fucked)” is any indication, it’ll be chock full of tongue-in-cheek pop anthems.

Eve Parker Finley

An indie-pop auteur with an affinity for comedy, Eve Parker Finley is one of the most charming young musicians in Canadian music. Her music combines heartfelt chamber pop with chest-rattling beats, kind of like if Bridgerton was set in a DIY club. Parker Finley also hosts the new online CBC Music show, Ten Minute Topline.

DJ Paisley Eva

DJ Paisley Eva hails from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation village of Eslha7an. She is the co-founder of Dame Music Collective, which offers low-barrier DJ lessons for her community. She is the lead facilitator at Decolonizing Practices, and a graphic designer and consultant. Her work is all based in Sḵwx̱wú7mesh teachings and driven by sharing equity with marginalized folk and getting dirty on the dance floor.
