Described by Pitchfork as “Captain Beefheart for synth heads who grew up watching Adult Swim,” Salami Rose Joe Louis (AKA Lindsay Olsen) harnesses electronic tinkerings and glitch-y hooks to explore cosmic tinged storytelling in her lyricism. A signee to Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label, she recently dropped a recording of a rehearsal entitled Inside, with trio, at pattys, which should prepare you nicely for her mind-bendingly catchy live show.
