Sled Island presents: LYRIQUE, Novkane, Profit, Natmi & James Colt

LYRIQUE

LYRIQUE is a hip-hop artist that puts emphasis on the art of lyrics, cadence and flow. 2019 will be his sophomore appearance at Sled Island, and the perfect opportunity for him to perform cuts from his full-length album that is currently in the works.

Profit

Hailing from Calgary, Profit is a young hip-hop artist with an aim to be remembered as one of the greatest to touch a mic. Drawing inspiration from many sources including revolutionaries such as Malcolm X, Bobby Seale and Fred Hampton, to name a few, as well as legendary artists like Ray Charles, Tupac and Erykah Badu, Profit is influenced by the greats and strives to leave a lasting impression in his city and beyond.

Natmi

Blending elements of jazz, R&B  and hip-hop, Natmi's cool grooves and soft jams will have you moving long after her set has finished. A voice like silk and a stage presence that will leave you mesmerized, Natmi is a rising star in Calgary's hip-hop community, and we can't wait to follow her every step of the way.

James Colt

Earning media and industry recognition before he was even old enough to vote, 21 year-old hip-hop wunderkind James Colt is at last making his Sled Island debut. Fully embracing the "sad boy" wave, James Colt blends vulnerable and emotionally-charged lyrics catchy, melodic flows.
