Description

mHz

Mo H. Zareei aka mHz is an Iranian sound artist and electronic musician based in New Zealand. His practice ranges from electronic music composition and performance to audiovisual and kinetic sound installations. His music has been published via Important Records (US), LINE (US), leerraum (CH), and Kasuga Records (DE).

Wish Lash

Wish Lash pairs ambient layers with techno pulses to create emotive dancefloor energy. Her live performances utilize software, sampling and analog hardware for a cohesive and enveloping sound design that blurs the boundaries of genres, effects and improvisation. On top of that, she brings an MFA in visual arts to the stage with her, which inspires her experimental productions.

mineo kawasaki

Mineo Kawasaki is a solo drummer and composer who manipulates rhythms and effects with a MIDI controller as he performs. His sets include a mixture of post-rock, indie, electronica, techno and minimal music. In the fall of 2022, he brought his eclectic sounds to Canada for the first time, touring Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal to enraptured crowds.

State n Division

Vivid, abrasive and transportive, electronic composer Carlos Arteaga works in glitch-forward experimental music to create a tactile sensation of sound. Part drone, part club music thrown into the garbage disposal, his compositions feel like reaching the pool in an oasis only to discover that it’s filled with battery acid.
