Description

 Ryan Bourne

Calgary’s Ryan Bourne is a prolific collaborator that has worked with acts like Ghostkeeper, Lab Coast, Jon McKiel and Sleepkit. His newest album Plant City (produced by Chad VanGaalen) is a product of years of writing songs and jamming hard. Prepare for a rock ‘n roll adventure between subgenres of psych-folk and baroque pop.

Snake River

In 2021, seven years into his Snake River project, Christopher Sleightholm broke new ground with a headfirst dive into unadulterated psych music, from its sunny spots to its most shrouded. Called Lost Album, this release is a concept album, and much like previous releases, it follows characters living in the fictional town of Snake River. The album also features contributions from members of The Radiation Flowers and Shooting Guns.

Crystal Eyes

Dream-pop/shoegaze act Crystal Eyes returns to Sled Island following the April release of new LP The Sweetness Returned. The record is a new sonic evolution for the group — led by vocalist/guitarist Erin Jenkins — that incorporates melodies from new wave and ‘60s psych alongside unconventional instrumentation such as a detuned piano and a hand-built theremin.
