Description
Sled Island is pleased to partner for the second year with ImagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival (Toronto, Oct. 22–27, 2019). ImagineNATIVE is a global hub for Indigenous-made media arts. To mark National Indigenous People’s Day, we’re thrilled to present the festival’s New Waves shorts showcase, featuring a new generation of storytellers who explore their past and present connections, mythology and cultural heritage in these short films. We hope you’ll enjoy this showcase of new talent as much as we do!
Please note some sensitive subject matter: Residential schools and loss of culture.
