Slam Calgary - Main Event

Slam Festival embodies the soul of our inland surf culture, inspired by the traditions that came before it.  This is where art meets recreation. Surf Culture is everywhere in the world but in Calgary, it lives in Slam.

This year Slam Festival will take place on our home turf by the 10th St Wave.  We have a lot of events happening and most of it is free to attend!  Check out Slamthefestival.com for all event details.

The Main Event 

Saturday August 10th 11:00am-10:00pm

General Admission $20: This is the fenced area that contains some of our key activations. The Main Stage, MarketspotYYC artisan vendor market, art exhibits, community art space, merch booth, food vendors and licensed bar (18+).

Main Stage line up: Bombargo, Fever Feel,  The Varmoors, Lashes, Sitstill!, Silence The Swamps, Good Grief

Children Ages 12 and under are FREE and need to be accompanied by an adult.

 

Rocky Mountain Luau 

Friday, August 9th 6:00pm-10:00pm 

This event has FREE ADMISSION. Come check out the Luau. Come enjoy the Appleton Rum tiki bar (exclusive to friday), delicious food from Madisons 1212 and Zilford's Fried Chicken, Surf Rock Orchestra by the 427's and some Hawaiian ambience.

Children Ages 12 and under need to be accompanied by an adult.
