Description
In this non-fiction shorts package you will discover a mix of stories focused on history and community: from bowling to kayaking, farming, and our Indigenous past.

Ts'oostsitsi is a Blackfoot word used to describe the past. Feeling responsible to continue storytelling in his family, Ike Solway recounts a powerful experience had by his grandfather. What follows is a story that echoes through generations.

89-year-old Italian immigrant Mike Nardone operates a farm all by himself in Alberta, Canada.

A community of bowlers outside of Cleveland cope with fundamental change when new owners take over at a landmark alley and a longtime league member comes out as a trans woman. Directed by CUFF alumnus Sam Cullman (CUFF.Docs 2014 Selection ART AND CRAFT).

In 2019 spring flooding in Mississippi hits record highs. In Louisiana, the residents of Pierre-Part are preparing for the worst in order to save the cities of New-Orleans and Bâton-Rouge from further uncontrolled flooding.

When the rivers freeze, world class freestyle kayakers find their way to a special spot on the Chattahoochee River. Squatting in an abandoned parking lot, they spend the winter training for the next world championships on North America’s best winter whitewater. Directed by Jeff Springer (CUFF.Docs 2018 Selection RODENTS OF UNUSUAL SIZE).
