The South Florida Ballet Theater Presents

“Cinderella” 

In a land far, far away  lives a dominating woman with her two spoiled daughters, and her kind stepdaughter she called Cinderella. The stepmother deems Cinderella be her servant.

One evening an invitation from the palace arrives to announce a royal ball where the prince will choose his future bride. The Stepsisters prepare for the ball while Cinderella is told she cannot attend.

The fairy Godmother enters.  She appreciates Cinderella’s kindness and summons in the four season fairies, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, who convert her rags into a glimmering gown, shoes, coach, and crown, to attend the Ball.

All the beautiful maidens in the land attend the ball dancing while awaiting the arrival of the prince. When he finally arrives he  sees a vision , Cinderella arrives and he falls in love at first sight of her. They dance until the clock suddenly begins to strikes midnight. Cinderella must leave as her gifts begin to vanish, leaving only her slipper behind.

Back home all await the arrival of the prince looking for the maiden who would fit the precious shoe and claim his bride.
