Serial Killaz first caught the attention of the drum and bass and jungle worlds when they remixed Tribe Of Issachar’s Junglist back in 2005 for Rebel MC’s Congo Natty label.

The duo have spent the past decade earning a reputation as the genre’s remix producers of choice, with releases on heavyweight labels such as Congo Natty, Playaz, Philly Blunt and Urban Takeover. They also manage their own Serial Killaz and Streetlife Recordings labels.

Over their decade-long career the pair have worked with vocalists such as Top Cat, Tenor Fly, Rebel MC, Ms Dynamite, General Levy, Ragga Twins, Lady Chann, Nancy & Phoebe, Daddy Freddy, Rodney P and Blak Twang. They have remixed tracks for artists such as Krome & Time, Micky Finn & Aphrodite, Toddla T, Skream, EZ Rollers, Benny Page, Deekline & Ed Solo, Toddla T, Skream and many more.

The duo have headlined stages at Glade Festival, Outlook Festival and Boomtown, and have taken their brand of jungle to club nights and festivals across the globe.

A staple of the West Coast Jungle Scene, DJ Celcius has smashed down main rooms and headlined events across Canada and into the States since his early days in 1993. He's held down residencies in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Regina and Vancouver and played some of the biggest festivals including Shambhala (Salmo), Frightnight (Calgary, 1995-2010), Connect Festivals (Regina, 1995-2006), Apex (Vancouver, 1&2), Motion Notion (1&2) to name a few. Celcius attributes his success to a strong word of mouth following and a series of live mixes, including one with the legendary MC Fearless(UK). Heymac (Harry Macdonald) has been a driving force in the Red Deer Electronic music scene for several years. With 5 years of DJing under his belt and 2 years of production. He infuses deep house with moody bass vibes to create an atmosphere that dancefloors can vibe to for hour on end.

For a soft spoken and quiet individual, Heymac has accomplished a fair amount in so little time. He has opened for Grossbuster, Headlined the Second stage during the Official Road to Shambala Party in Red Deer (Funkhunters), Headlined Red Deer College show along side other Synthetic locals, and has been book for his festival debut at Burningdan this summer.

Pulling from inspirations like Maya Jane Coles, Tchami, Shadow Child, and Porter Robinson. Heymac continually looks outside of the box and uses forward thinking when mixing and in production to create a sound that is his own. This is shown in his live sets as he incorporates all types of dance music into a cohesive set. From techno and deep house to riddim and drum and bass, Heymac strives to play unique music at each show and expand the crowd’s taste in music and make it resonate with them.

Heymac has released all of his productions for free through his soundcloud account and has multiple releases for this coming year including originals and collaborations with other Synthetic Production artists like Platonix and Organic Culture. Heymac shows no sign of slowing down in the near future.
