Description

Featuring Jay Leno

125 years ago, on October 10, 1901, Henry Ford first went racing. Since driving that “Sweepstakes” racer at the Grosse Pointe, Michigan horse track and beating Alexander Winton, the Ford Motor Company has seen victory through the decades. From the dominance of the V8 in the 1930s, “Total Performance” in the 1960s from NASCAR to NHRA to Le Mans and Formula 1 to the current Mustang GTD, racing and its heritage has directly impacted Ford's production vehicle technology and brand identity.

Will Ford, the General Manager of Ford Performance sits down with Jay Leno to share how his family’s legacy and that of the legions of talented, dedicated, hardworking engineers, designers, teams and drivers have delivered magic to a century and a quarter of dedicated fans around the world!
