Seminar: Forging Careers in Historic Vehicles w/ Victoria Bruno & Betty Parrish

They say if you find a job in a field you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. And for some, vintage vehicles capture their imagination in a way like nothing else. Each vehicle has a story, and for these individuals, there’s no more rewarding career than to become a part of these vehicles’ storied past and potential future. Join vintage Ferrari mechanic and restorer Victoria Bruno and high school student/antique automobile restorer Betty Parrish as they discuss what inspired their love of vintage automobiles and how they plan to use that passion in their careers for years to come.

Victoria Bruno

Victoria Bruno is a vintage Ferrari mechanic and restorer, as well as a McPherson College alumni with a passion for early racecars. She is based in Berkeley, California and works with the renowned Patrick Ottis Company.

Betty Parrish

I am a 17-year-old high school student and an antique automobile enthusiast. I grew up with tools in my hand and have been restoring vintage vehicles with my grandfather. It is a passion of mine which I share with like-minded teen girls from high school, who I've been teaching and mentoring. I have already been in several podcasts and magazines where I shared my passion, visited concourses and participated in the Great Race. Restoration isn't just a job for me. It's a way of life and it is always an honor to be a part of a vehicle's history and become a temporary caretaker.
