Tip Tuesday: How Showpass Stays Productive

Here, at Showpass we understand how important it is to use our time efficiently and effectively to get the most out of our days. Here are some strategies that we use to manage our time and stay productive:
  1. Make sure you know your plans for the day.
    • We have daily team stand-ups and are transparent with our goals and how we are going to achieve them.
  2. Keep track of your day to day, weekly and monthly tasks.
    • We live by our google calendar’s - we track everything, from meetings to socials to vacations.
  3. Know what works for you and what doesn’t.
    • Some of us work best in the morning, whereas others prefer to stay late at the office. Tune into yourself and find out what time of day is best for you.
  4. Make sure to move around.
    • We like to squeeze in a workout before we get to work or find some time during the day to get some fresh air. Our dog friendly office in Calgary gives us a good reason to get out for a walk!
  5. Remember the 80/20 rule.
    • Only 20% of what you do each day produces 80% of your results. We make sure to focus and put our time and effort into what’s working and cut out the stuff that isn’t.
  6. Take Vacations. It’s OK.
    • Everyone needs time to rejuvenate! Our flexible vacation policy allows us to take unlimited vacation days, which has proven to be extremely valuable.
  7. It’s important.
    • Even when we have big to-do lists, we try not to pull all-nighters (at least not very often)... a healthy sleep schedule leads to more productivity and happiness.
  8. There is no “I” in team.
    • We are a family at Showpass and we KNOW that we have each other’s back. We ask each other for help when we need it and make sure to lend a hand wherever we can.
  9. Recognize your accomplishments.
    • We like to celebrate as a team when we reach our goals or accomplish huge wins. This usually involves lots and lots of yummy food!
  10. Time to get to work.
    • Now that we’ve shared our top tips for staying productive, it’s time to get to work and give it a try!
