 ABOUT THE ARTIST

Glendon Smith is a Canadian saxophonist, educator, and arranger known for his versatility across jazz, pop, R&B, Latin, and contemporary music. A graduate of Humber College, where he studied with renowned saxophonist Pat LaBarbera, he has built a career as a sought-after freelance musician, performing internationally throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. Smith is a Juno Award nominee and a two-time gold record recipient, recognized for his recording, arranging, and production work on numerous successful Canadian albums. In addition to performing, he is an experienced clinician and private teacher, mentoring saxophonists of all ages in jazz improvisation, theory, and performance.
