GEORGIA BOY CHOIR  -  SEPT. 28

Established in 2009 under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor, David R. White, the Georgia Boy Choir has quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest Choirs of its kind. Known for the transcendent beauty of their singing and powerful, nuanced musical interpretation, the Choir has garnered an impressive international fan base through touring and its many performance videos.

 

ROMEO & JULIET  -  NOV. 14-16

The most famous love story of all time reimagined as an American Western. Despite their feuding families, Romeo and Juliet find a spark of hope in forbidden love. Can peace exist in a violently polarized world? Directed by John Michael Cox.

CLASSICAL POPS CELEBRATION - JAN. 25

GRAMMY award-winning conductor Richard Kaufman conducts the BJUSO with acclaimed recording artist and trumpet soloist Barry Perkins in a program featuring soul-stirring classical favorites guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

 

 

 LIVING GALLERY: LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED  -  MAR. 28-30

A boldly unique, dramatic presentation traces the unfolding of God’s loving hand throughout human history and into the future. See great paintings and sculptures “come alive” in life-size re-creations on the Rodeheaver stage, including four new works of art, a new script, and music from Joan Pinkston and Getty and Townend.

 

 

HAYDYN'S THE CREATION - APR. 18-19

Widely considered one of his most popular works, Haydn’s cinematic-like oratorio gives the listener a front-row experience as the creation story unfolds with dramatic power, expansive beauty and subtle humor. Megan Stapleton, soprano; Joshua Wheeker, tenor; David Parker, bass; Michael Moore, conductor.
