Description
One last gathering before we close the book on this winter.
On April 15th in Squamish, we’re wrapping up the season with a final snowpack discussion, zooming out on a winter that kept shifting under our feet, connecting the dots between what we saw on the Coast, in the Rockies, and across Western Canada. What held, what didn’t, and what this season leaves behind as we head into spring.
Then we shift gears.
We’ll be screening The Guidebook, a film centered on Squamish’s own Matt Gunn, the mind behind Scrambles in Southwest British Columbia, a book that quietly shaped how an entire region moves through the mountains. What starts as a story about access turns into something deeper: responsibility, consequence, and the weight of putting information out into the world when the terrain doesn’t forgive mistakes.
It’s part season debrief, part film night, and a good way to close things out with the people who’ve been out there living it.
