Join local indie-rockers Sea of Lettuce for a beach party album release at the legendary King Eddy on Saturday, June 8.
About Sea of Lettuce:
Sea of Lettuce is an alternative-indie group from Calgary with a fresh spin on the genre’s typical sound. The band formed back in late 2016, with a group of longtime friends coming together out of a shared passion to create and perform. Starting with basement jams in high school, they have since developed their own well-rounded discography that continues to grow each year.
Over the past six years of recording and performing together, the band has established a strong live presence that brings high energy and entertainment to every show. With an exciting style that mixes together elements of indie-pop, alternative rock, surf and psychedelia, Sea of Lettuce delivers a unique listening experience to both long-time fans and new audiences.
The group has found a strong following on social and streaming sites along the way, reaching over six million listeners and 20 million streams across Spotify and other popular platforms. Sea of Lettuce’s discography includes three full length albums and two EPs, with their next fulllength project slated to arrive this summer!
About The Moonsnakes:
The Moonsnakes eclectic sound is crafted by multi-instrumentalist Mitch Malyk. Summer vibes meet pop hooks in this psychedelic jangle into the abyss. Current band members include Blaine Standing (drums), Nick Styles (bass), Sydney Seidel (vocals), Tory Rosso (guitar). A 4-track EP is set to release summer 2024.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
