Description
Presenter: Lara Victoria.
Have you ever purchased a wine based on a critic’s high score, only to find it didn’t measure up? Are you confused about which expert’s ratings to trust, or why ratings vary? You’re not alone! WSET-Certified Wine Educator and IWSC Judge Lara Victoria leads this fun, hands-on seminar on wine scoring. She’ll discuss the criteria professional reviewers use to rate wines, and teach guests what to look for when assessing the quality of a wine. Guests will then participate in a blind tasting of 8 to 10 wines, allowing them to test drive their new skills. They’ll leave the seminar knowing how to evaluate wines for themselves, so they easily can determine which wines they’re likely to find enjoyable the next time they’re faced with a row of bottles in a wine shop or a restaurant wine list.
The wines will be revealed during the seminar.
