Untethered in Motion + The Hoodlockers

In a vibrant union of live music and dance, Paul Giess’ group, Untethered, improvises genre-defying grooves for The Hoodlockers, stunning modern day champions of the 70s generated funk style dance, Locking. Their collaborative performance is woven by the spirit of spontaneous creative composition, celebrating the power of improvisation, the essence of funk, and intergenerational transmission of the sacred in Black American vernacular art.
