Sashay, Fillet! is officially headed to Edmonton for the first time ever!

ATB Financial, Remy Cointreau and Eat North are very proud to present the inaugural Sashay, Fillet! YEG where the worlds of culinary and drag will collide in celebration of Alberta's peak Pride season.

The YEG Edition of Sashay, Fillet! will be hosted by drag queen Yuhua Hamasaki (RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10, YouTube's Bootleg Opinions), this one-of-a-kind food-meets-drag event in support of Skipping Stone Foundation will see 4 talented chefs paired up with 4 amazing drag performers at CKUA Radio Hall.

The pairs will be judged by an expert judging panel (Janis Irwin, Celeigh Cardinal, Phil Wilson and Tea Fannie) who will eliminate the teams one-by-one until a winning Sashay, Fillet! pair is crowned at the end of the night!

It's going to be a great time, so don't miss out!

This is what attendees can expect:

-a signature Sashay, Fillet! welcome cocktail

-canape samples inspired by the 4 drag performers created by the competing chefs

-dazzling performances on stage.

-full-service bar to purchase cocktails feat. Remy Cointreau spirits as well as fun snacks and appys by MilkCrate Catering

-ATB's Possibility Pot where event attendees have the chance to win $1,000 for themselves to make something possible in their life and then $5,000 would be donated to an organization that supports the 2SLGBTQIA+ community

-50/50 and merch booth in support of Skipping Stone.

-basically the best time ever!

 

Chefs: Dez Lo (Top Chef Canada Season 10 runner-up), Monika Wahba (Maha's Egyptian Brunch, Top Chef Canada Season 10 fan favourite), Steve Brochu (MilkCrate) and Bri Campbell (Dine at May)

Drag performers: Honey Dijon, Plastika, Pheromone Killz and Karla Marx.

General tickets are $35 and include: welcome drink, canape samples and entertainment.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $70 and include general ticket plus:

-early event access at 6PM

-meet and greet with queens and Yuhua Hamasaki

-additional canape service

-preferred seating and table service

-advance copy of Twyla Campbell and Dan Clapson's debut cookbook PRAIRIE
