This is a Knox Arts Ministry event partnership with DeanKing Production Sanctuary Project, funded with the support of the City of Calgary Culture Days Microgrant. 

Sanctuary transforms Calgary’s historic Knox United Church into a stage for drag, music, and queer joy. Under the glow of stained glass and soaring arches, drag artists bring camp, glamour, and radical love to the altar in a one-of-a-kind performance.

This is more than a show — it’s a celebration of community, spirit, and the power of queerness to reimagine sacred space. Expect a dazzling mix of comedy, live singing, lip sync, and heartfelt moments that will lift both soul and spirit.
