Sail Through This To That - Transcendent Choir of Philadelphia on the Delaware River

Join us at Spruce Street Harbor Park for a nighttime summer choral performance unlike any other, by the Transcendent Choir of Philadelphia - Philly's first Trans & GNC choir. This rare experience summons the spirit of the Delaware River as it ebbs and flows through the voices of choral singers. Come listen to the river under the light of the sails on the Northwind Schooner. This program is the first of a triptych of public programs to be offered in the month of June as part of artist indira allegra’s Sail Through This to That.

indira allegra is a conceptual artist and founder of Cazimi Studio. Cazimi Studio uses weaving as a framework to creatively transform tension within different sites. The studio is unique in its emphasis on performance, publication and the integration of spiritual care as preferred design solutions. Thinking as a poet, threads of connection are discovered between seemingly disparate experiences. Moving as a weaver, these connections are interlaced into a greater whole.
