Description

Sacred Silhouette

May 1, 2025 | 6:30–8:30 pm | The Forum, Red Deer

An embodied painting experience of unapologetic liberation, intention, and self-expression.

Sacred Silhouette is an intention-infused embodiment experience co-hosted by Joelle Bourque and Naomi Loree. Through the creation of your own silhouette painting, you will quite literally use your body as the brush, allowing your physical form to become a living imprint of your confidence, liberation, and self-love.

This is more than painting. This is a ceremony of reclaiming yourself.

You will be guided inward to connect with a personal intention through grounding practices and a crystal bowl sound bath, allowing your nervous system to soften and your intuition to reveal what is ready to be embodied and anchored. As you create your silhouette, that intention becomes infused into your artwork, transforming it into a powerful, energetic anchor that you can take home with you.

This experience is about honouring your body exactly as it is. No artistic experience is necessary. There is no right or wrong way to create. Only truth, presence, and you.

Expect a supportive, consent-based environment where you are free to move at your own pace and honour your own boundaries. Participation is always your choice, and you are invited to engage in whatever way feels most aligned and empowering for you.

You will leave with your own sacred silhouette painting and, more importantly, with a deeper sense of confidence, embodiment, and connection to yourself.

All materials are provided. Canvas size is:  60.9 cm × 76.2 cm | Aka: 24 inches × 30 inches | Aka: 2 feet × 2.5 feet

**Please wear underwear or clothing you feel comfortable getting paint on. Most participants will be choosing to create their silhouette in underwear for a clear imprint, though you are welcome to wear as much or as little as feels right for you. If wearing shorts, ensure it is something you are comfortable permanently painting. Your comfort, choice, and consent are honoured throughout this experience.
