Alt-rocker Cas Jade brings her unforgettable full-band show to the legendary King Eddy stage on August 7.
About Cas Jade:

Cas Jade is an alternative rock artist based in Calgary, Alberta, known for powerful vocals, cinematic sound, and emotionally driven storytelling. Blending ethereal textures with raw, immersive production, her music explores themes of transformation, resilience, identity, and the duality of human nature. Following her debut single Freak of Nature, Cas continues to expand her artistic world with Animal : a darker exploration of instinct, shadow, and self-acceptance.
Having performed more than 200 shows across Western Canada, Cas has shared the stage with legendary Canadian rock band PRISM and has become known for emotionally charged live performances that blur the line between concert and experience. Her August 7 performance at the King Eddy celebrates the next chapter in her artistic journey with an unforgettable full-band show.

The name Cantrip is an Old Scots word meaning a charm, magic spell or piece of mischief and it aptly describes the unexpected twists and turns in their musical arrangements, likewise the compelling potency of their musicianship. Swirling border pipes, raging fiddle, thunderous guitar and three rich voices blend to create a sound energetic enough to tear the roof off. After 20 years of touring, Cantrip has found a character like no other. Echoes can be heard of trad music from the 1960s and 70s, but the years have slowly infested their music with the sounds of funk, metal, bluegrass, swing, and even klezmer. About Neighbour Andy:
Middle province's Neighbour Andy has spent the last few years building a reputation not only as a band, but as a genuine hot ticket. Comprised of Drake Lesperance (vocals), Mark Davidson (guitar), MacKenzie Jackson (bass), Jordan Alexiuk (drums), and Joel d'Eschambault (keys), the five friends fuse the rhythmic drive of alt-rock with the narrative heart of Americana, folk, and an influence of funk — a sound that skips the predictable and lands somewhere that feels necessary.
The group first gained local traction in 2022 with the single "71," an infectious track born from guitarist Mark's childhood home that captures the feeling of growing up with your best friends. Neighbour Andy’s sophomore album Right By You, By Everyone is a sardonic, introspective soundtrack to the quarter-life crisis, a mirror to the deeply familiar years of our lives: the messy non-linear climb out of our twenties. It’s a playful yet poetic commentary on the relatable journey through self-sabotage, stagnant ambition, imposter syndrome, financial anxiety, and the search for genuine connection amidst lack of life experience to know better.
