From the Legendary Yorkville Scene of the 1960s to the present day, Toronto has produced some of the most revered songwriters in the world. The Toronto Songbook will celebrate the songwriting legends who first emerged here, such as Rosedale’s own Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Bruce Cockburn, along with a range of artists who have followed in their footsteps to make Toronto a true music city!

 The Toronto Songbook at Rosedale United Church will feature a variety of Toronto singers and musicians, each interpreting classic songs for a unique night of music. Confirmed artistsArtists include Dala, John Finley from Toronto’s legendary 1960s R&B band Jon and Lee & the Checkmates, Rebecca Campbell, Free Play featuring Suba Sankaran and Dylan Bell, Suzie McNeil, Lester McLean, Jason Fowler and Fergus Hambleton. Musical Director for the show is Michael Occhipinti. This will be a memorable performance on Friday May 31 at Rosedale United Church.
